Grade 5 Supply List 2008-2009
First Semester
The following supplies are needed for the first semester of fifth grade. Many of these supplies will need to be replenished or replaced for the second semester. A list of these items and additional items needed for the second semester will be supplied at a later date.
NO THREE-RING BINDERS OR TRAPPER KEEPERS!
2 packs wide-ruled loose leaf paper
6 2-pocket folders with prongs
5 1-subject spiral notebooks (at least 70-page count; no 3- or 5-subject notebooks)
1 backpack (NO rolling backpacks)
1 fabric pencil pouch (no plastic pouches or school boxes), in which students should bring the following items:
6 sharpened #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)
2 pencil sharpeners with shavings collector
2 red, 2 blue, and 2 black pens
2 glue sticks
1 pair Fiskars for Kids scissors
1 pack colored pencils
Please note that individual teachers may require a few specific items and will inform you of those needs at the beginning of the school year.

ream of copy paper (for Accelerated Math)
hand sanitizer

band-aids
